Maersk announced that it will restart the booking service in Ukraine.

Recently, Maersk announced that it will restart the booking service in Ukraine. Maersk said it was continuing to monitor developments across Ukraine and implement solutions for its customers' cargo within safety constraints.

Logistical operations in and around Ukraine remain challenging, but we are pleased to inform you that direct bookings to Ukraine from anywhere in the world are now available, alleviating customer pain points that have been frequent over the past year.

To this end, a weekly barge service was launched from the Romanian port of Constanta to the Ukrainian port of Reni. The service is now fully operational on two routes, via Constanta/Danube Strait and the Black Sea, with a transit time of approximately 1.5 days.

Maersk added that the system has also been updated and is ready to accept direct bookings from customers at Port Rainey.

Bookings will be subject to operational capacity and submission of correct documentation, including legal acceptance of the Ukraine terms due to ongoing risks in the region.
