Route News! Matson opens Haiphong-Shanghai-West of the United Stated Express service.
Matson announced the launch of a new express route from northern Vietnam to the west of the United States. This boutique express route "Haiphong-Shanghai-West of the United States" is jointly developed by Matson Shipping and Jinjiang Shipping, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SIPG. The direct feeder service from Haiphong to Shanghai will realize timely and seamless connection with Matson's CLX and CLX+.
This new service provides our customers with another best express option in the trans-Pacific market: only 17 and 18 days from Haiphong to the West of the United States (17 days for connecting with CLX, 18 days for connecting with CLX+), and With Matson's consistently leading service stability and reliability.
The feeder ship Tongjue 2309N on its maiden voyage departed from Haiphong on March 9 (Thursday) and arrived in Shanghai on March 13 (Monday). And successfully connected to the Matson CLX route Matson Hena 045E and CLX+ route Matson Molokai 029E, and are scheduled to arrive at the Port of Long Beach, USA on March 26 (Sunday) and March 27 (Monday) respectively.
